Brooklyn Networks is currently recruiting for our Career Reentry Program!
Exclusively for individuals on probation, parole, have a pending case or released in the past year and have a child under the age of 18.
*
This FREE intensive hands-on training program will help participants start a career in the field of network cable installation.
* Cable Technicians install the lines that run behind walls and ceilings that are hooked up to computers, telephones, security systems and A/V Equipment.
* Take responsibility for past actions and make a future you are proud of!
* Job placement assistance is available so you can put your new skills to work.
* 7 weeks part-time followed by 2 weeks full-time
To apply you MUST be:
1.
At least 21 years old
2.
A New York City resident and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
3.
New York State Drivers License preferred.
4.
Pass a drug test & Physically fit/able to lift 70 lbs.
5.
Able to pass a math and reading test at/or above the 8th grade level.
6.
Have a child under the age of 18.
7.
Be on probation, parole, have a pending case or released within the last year.
HOW TO APPLY?
1. Attend one INFORMATION SESSION
Wednesday July 7th at 2PM
Wednesday July 14th at 10AM
Wednesday July 21st at 10AM
*You MUST bring proof of court involvement and the address of your child to the information session. Without this information you will not be admitted.
No need to register in advance, but please arrive early! Be prepared to complete an application. Sessions last 2-3 hours. NO latecomers will be admitted.
