Name Damian

My mother when she was a young girl she thought of the name Damian. Cause she liked the name and wanted to name her son in the future. After many years she had 2 children, after her 3 child, me. My mother decided to use the name Damian.

Damian name comes from Greek. There are many ways to write it that is similar to Damian. Some exaples: Damon, Damien, Daymon etc. On my birth name is Damian Alejandro. Alejandro is for male and cause my mother middle name is Alejandra. I thought it was cool that my mom saved it for all this these years after her fist son, my older brother.

I do like my name cause it sounds cool in spanish. My family calls my name in spanish but sometimes in english too. I also research my name and found out Damian is a popular name in the U.S. and the meaning is calm and tame. In the future if I have a son I would use my maiden name has the middle name so I can keep it in the family and also it could be remember. I thank my mother for giving me a wounderful name and that to know that she thought of that name and kept it for me even thou my older brother was born first. Damian to me is a strong, powerful, smart, focus kind of guy that refuses to give up hope and also caring and supported.
