All Pre-GED classes will be canceled tomorrow due to the predicted snowstorm. Please be advised that there is no class on Monday either, so the next class will be NEXT WED. 2/17. Your published writing pieces about your name are due on that day, and we will have a potluck celebrating our first writing piece of the cycle.
PLEASE COMMENT ON THIS POST TO TELL EVERYONE WHAT YOU WILL BE BRINGING- please try to bring something that you grew up eating or that reflects your culture and name.
Work hard on your writing pieces, enjoy the snow (if we really get any!), and the LONG weekend.

I will bring Filipino chicken adobo, representing my mother's side of my family.
Thanks for letting us know there will be no school today. I will bring in empanadas some made with beef and some with cheese. That represents my culture. See everyone next WED.
