My name is Izolda. It doesn't have any means on my native language. When I was born,my parents thought too long ,before to name me. All names, which in my community were using they didn't like. Finally they named me Izolda.

Izolda means beautiful on old Celtic language. Also it was the name of the princess of Ireland in the legend of ''Tristan and Isolde''. Its about an impossible love ,like''Romeo and Juliette'', ''Isolde the bride of the king of Cornwall,Mark ,who fell in love with the king's nephew Tristan, after they mistakenly drank a love potion...''

I like my name. But,when I was young, I wished to change it. Right now I don't remember
''why?''. And,I don't wanna change it anymore!

It is a tradition to give your name to one of your grandkids in my community. So,I'll do.

Izolda is nice and sonorously name, also,I think, all girl names are nice and beautiful.Just, love yourself and be happy with.

Hi Izolda!

It looks like a lot of thought went into your name, so I don't blame you for not wanting to change it! I love how you told the legend of Tristan and Isolde. So interesting!

One question I wondered when I was reading your piece was, "What is Izolda's native language?" Although you told us in class, you never wrote it in your writing piece. If you could tell us some examples of names that your parents didn't like in your community, that would add more personal experience (and heart) as well. I would love to hear more about this place where your name was born.

Please keep up the great work! I can see you have been working on structure too :)

Hi Izolda-

Here's a typing tip:

Leave two spaces after each period in a sentence. After commas, leave only one space. These are typing rules that will make your writing easier to read.

See you next week!
