A letter to Maria

Dear Maria
I think Columbus day it a big fraud. Because people don't know what he really did.
He went to a land were he met some Indians and made friends with them only to take
there land and turn them in to slaves, and took advantage of woman,children,and there man.
But all he really did was rob them of the gold and there pride that why I think they should not celebrate Columbus day.
They him seem like hero but he was a con man . That why people should read up on there history so they can learn
What they don't know . What kind of man you think he was.

    You should have written this to Teresa! Doesn't Maria agree that Columbus Day is a fraud? You have a very strong argument. I'd like Teresa to write about the OTHER SIDE.
