Hope to see you in class today!

Hello folks!

I hope you had a wonderful couple of weeks. I heard from Eva that Kourtney was unable to teach last Wednesday, so you were on your own. I hope the class went well and that you were able to make it productive. I know that you are very independent and work well together, so I'm sure you made it work. The questions that you generated to help understanding your news topics were great by the way.

Important Dates:
1. We will begin putting our information in presentation form starting this Wednesday 8/11 and ending next Wednesday 8/18.
2. Presentations will take place on 8/23.
3. You will be taking the Reading TABE on Mon. 8/16.
4. You will be taking the Math TABE on Wed. 8/18.
5. The last class is Wed. 8/25- we will have certificates, awards, and a party.

Please note that the following math homework is due in class this WEDNESDAY 8/11:
Returning students- pp. 34-36
New students- pp. 14-16

I will be collecting last week's homework today.
