My Life by Anthony Cook
I was born on August 21, 1991. When I was a baby I was so cute. After I was born, my father named me "Anthony." I live with my mother and my sister. Sometimes my mom gives me chores to do. When I as little kid, my parents taught me how toread and write. Sometimes I like to write in a journal. I like to read books in my house. I also study trains and planes. I look at pictures of trains and planes on the internet but not often. I like to go to church. In church, I like to learn about how Jesus Christ died, how God assist and eternal life. Every Sunday, I go to church. In my house, I like to watch television, play video games and get on the internet. Pretty much, I enjoy my life. I don't like to go to school, but I have to. In school, I'm doing terrific. When I was a kid, I use to get terrible tantrums when I got wrong answers.
I'm glad to see that you posted this new writing piece, Anthony! I especially like how the events that you listed are in order, starting with when you were born. I also enjoyed reading about how you used to get terrible tantrums. You have grown so much as a mature student.
ReplyDeleteLike with "Your Name" I would like for you to organize this piece into pragraphs too. You should have at least 3 paragraphs (an introduction, body, and conclusion wrapping it up). You may need to write a little bit more to help your writing flow with a new structure. See Sandra Cisneros' "My Name" and the "Cat" essay as examples on how to do this.
