One day, I went to a school named "Northside Center" at 7 years old. One day I've been aggresive hitting people and throwing chairs. While I was doing all that, my teacher restrained me for 5 minutes. While my teacher restraining me for 5 minutes , they said "No hitting! You don't hit people in this classroom! Do you understand me?!" (not everyday though). This took place near Central Park in Manhattan in 1999. All my teachers were in their 30s. After I was hitting people, at the end of the day I get no treat. The teachers were located in the classroom I was in. One teacher was wearing a light blue shirt and light blue jeans. The teachers were name Kerry and Pamela.
I was hitting students that got their treats. Ireally wate a treat because I behaved wll. My teachers think I was teasing a student, but I wasn't teasing a student. The students were around my age. I felt furious because I didn't get a treat. The treats were twinkies and brownies. I figured that it was not fair.
One month later, I became a good boy for the rest of the school year. My teacher Kerry told me "You have to be a good boy and not hit people". Since I've been a good boy, I deserve a treat. I was happy after I got a treat. I like being a good boy and learn things because it's part of growing up. My teachers usually gives out treat on Fridays.
wow some story. You need to write more. It was ok.
ReplyDeleteHi Anthony-
ReplyDeleteI'd also like to learn more. It sounds like there was a lot going on at the time! Do you remember learning about dialogue, blocking, and internal monologue when we were reading childhood narratives? It would be great to know what everyone was saying when this all took place. Also, what were you thinking? What were you feeling? I know this is the beginning of a very interesting writing piece!
Good luck!
Karen
